ZONA Magazine is a publication of photographic documentary nature, focused on issues related to the visual reality of the municipality of Almada. It was born from the interest in thinking and observing the urban and natural spaces as delimitating geographies of actions and processes of collective and individual construction, proposing a photographic analysis on the occupation of space and its spatial planning practice in confrontation with self managed "nowheres". By recording the present time, it aims at contributing to the collective photographic memory of Almada’s territory.
